Located in the heart of Brighton on Boston's west side. Ample off-street parking and in a professional building with many wellness providers.
Deep Tissue Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue called fascia. It is used to break down tissue adhesions and relieve pressure points throughout the body. This massage is beneficial for athletes and those who sit for long periods of time. This type of work can be more intense, but should never be painful.
Sports massage is a faster -paced massage indicated for those preparing for an event or recovering from one. The goal is to stimulate the muscle tissue to prepare it for action, and to help facilitate blood and lymph flow which aids in muscle repair. Active and passive stretching may be used and clothes are usually worn during the session. Sports massage can be beneficial for most people, not just athletes.
The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and promote relaxation. With slow deliberate strokes, this technique is perfect for those seeking refuge from today's stressful and hectic world. Don't be surprised if you fall asleep on the table. If you request Swedish massage you can expect dim lights and relaxing music.
Boston Massage and Bodywork offers a variety of modalities that can be combined to suit each individual's needs. Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage and Cupping with massage are among the most popular. Additional therapies such at Hot Stones, Gua She, essential oils and Swedish Massage can also be incorporated.

A: Not they do not! I am allergic as well.
Q: Do you take insurance?
A: At this time, not yet. We are looking into accepting insurance in the future. You can call your insurance company and find out if medically prescribed massage is reimbursable.
